Heedhire

Interview every applicant. Meet only the ones worth your time.

Heedhire starts with a conversation with the hiring manager about what the role needs. Then it interviews every applicant the way a good recruiter would, and recommends who to meet next, explains why, and suggests what to ask them.

How it works

  1. The intake

A 20 to 30 minute voice conversation with the hiring manager. It separates must-haves from nice-to-haves. The hiring manager signs off the brief before anyone is screened.

  2. The interviews

Every applicant gets a voice interview of about 20 minutes, from a link, at any hour.

  3. The recommendation

For each candidate: advance, consider or not recommended, with the evidence. You decide who moves forward.

What you get

  • Follow-up questions

A vague answer gets a follow-up. A general claim gets a request for a specific example.

  • Who did the work

Every candidate is asked their role and which parts of the work were theirs. Vague claims are flagged for you to check.

  • The practical questions

Every candidate is asked their schedule, work authorization, the pay they want and when they could start.

  • A plan for your interview

Who to meet, why, what to verify, and the questions to ask.

How candidates are treated

  • The interviewer tells every candidate at the start that it’s an AI.
  • The interviewer is designed not to ask about age, race, gender, health or other protected characteristics, or about salary history, and is instructed not to weigh them if a candidate brings them up.
  • No camera. No audio or video kept. Only the text of the conversation is kept and assessed.
  • Candidates can ask for an accommodation.
